Algeria’s future is in its High Plateaus, youth’s skills

LAGHOUAT (Algeria)- Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal underlined Wednesday, in Laghouat, that Algeria’s future is in its High Plateaus” and that its “wealth lies in the skills and intelligence of its youth.”In a statement to the APS, during his working and inspection visit to Laghouat, Sellal said that “Algeria’s future is in its High Plateaus and its wealth lies in the skills of its youth and their intelligence, envied by all countries.”
The Prime Minister said that the struggle currently led by Algeria in economy is that of “development, effectiveness, economic independence and food sufficiency, diversity, the gain of market share, acquiring new technologies and the socio-economic development of its citizens.”
In this regard, Sellal pleaded for “the development of agriculture in order to endure food security, adding that “agriculture must be the pillar.”
On this occasion, he said that the government “encourages the national economic sector and that it makes no distinction between the public and private sectors,” calling to “stop denigrating the private sector and businessmen since they are an asset for the country.”
