Revision of Constitution presents new vision of society, says Sellal

LAGHOUAT- Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal said Wednesday in Laghouat that the draft revision of the Constitution presents a new vision of society and strengthens the State by enshrining the freedoms and broadening the prerogatibes of the Parliament.

“The draft revised Constitution presents a new vision of society which strengthens the State, through the consolidation of individual and collective freedoms,” Sellal said while he was laying the foundation stone of the cement plant in the commune of El-Beidha in Laghouat (400-km south of Algiers).

The draft revised Constitution gives more prerogatives to the Parliament, he added.

Sellal said that “work and hope are the best answer to the pessimists and suspicious.”
