Lamamra, al-Jaafari hold further one-on-one talks

ALGIERS – Minister of State, Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Ramtane Lamamra on Thursday here held further talks with Iraqi counterpart Al-Ashaiqer Al-Jaafari, on a visit to Algeria.
The one-on-one talks, which took place at the headquarters of the Foreign Affairs Ministry, were extended to the delegations of both countries.
The two officials went over the means likely to bolster the links of brotherhood and reinforce cooperation between the two countries, in addition to the Arab, regional and international issues of common interest.
Iraqi FM on an official two-day visit to Algeria at the invitation of Minister of State, Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Ramtane Lamamra said that this visit “lays down the foundations for solid relations between the two countries and represents a turning point of a new stage which will consolidate the relations in all the levels.”
At their Wednesday’s meeting, the two foreign ministers had discussed several issues of bilateral cooperation and prospects, the security, the oil market and the crisis resulting from the oil price fall.
