French-Algerian dialogue is successful, says Juppé

ALGIERS- The Mayor of Bordeaux, Alain Juppé said Tuesday, in Algiers, that the French-Algerian dialogue is successful and that it is “very constructive,” stressing that it is good to “continue it.”Alain Juppé welcomed the French-Algerian dialogue, which is successful and is “very constructive, and it is good to continue it,” said the French Mayor at the end of his meeting with the Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Ramtane Lamamra.
Juppé said that he discussed with the Algerian Minister issues of common interests, particularly the situation in Syria and how to get out of the situation in Libya, supporting “the national reconciliation process.”
The former French Prime Minister also examined with Lamamra the ways and means to further strengthen the French-Algerian cooperation, which is “excellent today,” to deal with the terrorist threat in the Sahel.
Juppé, candidate to the primaries of the Republicans party, for the 2017 French Presidential elections, arrived Monday, to Algiers, coming from Oran, where he started, the day before, a three-day working visit to Algeria.
