Le président Bouteflika appelle les Algériens à s’inspirer des sacrifices des chouhada et des moudjahidine

ALGIERS – President of the Republic Abdelaziz Bouteflika on Wednesday urged the “Algerians to follow the model of our glorious martyrs and our valiant fighters who recovered independence of the country, at great sacrifices.”

In a message sent to the Algerian workers on the occasion of the celebration of 60th anniversary of the creation of the General Union of the Algerian Workers (UGTA) and the 45th anniversary of Hydrocarbon Nationalization, President Bouteflika urged the Algerians “to consistently work, drawing on the path of the seniors, who tirelessly endeavoured for long decades to build an Algeria in an unfavourable economic and security context.”

The head of the State insisted on the need to “continue acquiring knowledge in our universities, working lands and investing in factories so Algeria can overcome this difficult conjuncture, resulted from destabilized oil market.”

President of the Republic “paid homage to the workers of Algeria, in particular those of the General Union of Algerian Workers for the efforts and sacrifices they keep making and for their precious contribution to the national economic and social dialogue.”
