Lower House wraps up fall session

ALGIERS- The People’s National Assembly (Lower House of Parliament) wrapped up Tuesday, in Algiers, its fall session 2015, in a plenary session chaired by Mohamed Larbi Ould Khelifa, Speaker of the Lower House.

The closing ceremony took place in the presence of the Speaker of the Council of the Nation (Upper House of Parliament), Abdelkader Bensaleh, Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal and members of the government.

The closing of the fall session comes in accordance to the article 118 of the Constitution and Article 5 of the organic law 99-02 relating to the organization of the Lower House and the Council of the Nation, their running and functional relations with the government.
