New administrative division to bring decision-making centre closer to citizen

TOUGGOURT (Ouargla)- Minister of Interior and Local Assemblies Noureddine Bedoui said Thursday in the administrative district of Touggourt (Ouargla), that ‘‘the new administrative division, decided by President Bouteflika, aims at bringing the decision-making center to the citizen.

While inspecting the projects coming under his sector, the minister said that this decision will serve the interests of the inhabitants of the newly created districts, adding that ‘‘the efforts for the development in those administrative districts will allow them to rise to the ranks of province.”

“The officials and local representatives are invited to meet this challenge, for the contribution to local development and meeting the expectations of the citizens,” insisted the Minister of Interior.

During this working visit, Noureddine Bedoui visited the headquarters of the administrative district of Touggourt before inspecting, in the commune of Touggourt, the service of biometric passports.
